If you thought that the containers only used in logistics, you will be surprised by this new architectural project. Yes, the container is very trendy for some years in housing. See you today at United States to discover the very amazing "Joshua Tree Residence".
This exceptional residence, built in the California National Park Joshua Tree, was imagined by the British architecture firm Whitaker Studio on behalf of a film producer from Los Angeles. This unusual design house, which covers 200 square meters of living space, is entirely built from shipping containers. The building has a living room, a dining room, a kitchen and three bedrooms.
According to its creator, each container is oriented to get the best view of the landscape. Finally, it has been installed to to be protected from all the difficult climatic conditions that are part of everyday life in the California desert.
A project at once surprising and original that proves that the shipping container has become, in a few years, a real architectural trende. We remember for example the containerturned into a guest house by Jim Poteet, orthe hotel "Hive-Inn" entirely composed of stacked containers.
